My mentor, Don Laufer, was demonstrating his jam peg machine today, and in explaining it, he mentioned that when he first learned to facet with a jam peg machine years ago, the dops that he used had metal index rings rather than the ones being produced today that use plastic index rings.  He believed that the machine he learned on was probably from Europe.

Does anyone know of a source that produce Jam peg dops that use metal index rings?  If so, I'd greatly appreciate it, so I can let him know and he might be able to order some.  Thanks in advance!
