Just thought I would mention I’m the author of fitting a Vernier gauge in the current issue of Facet talk 228.

I’ve had one on my machine for 10 plus years and I find it a great help. If anyone has any questions, or wants to have a go fitting one. I’m more than happy to help either on the forum or via email.

This one is about $100, you can get cheaper ones, but without a remote readout.
